| My neighbor, Michel, got his company Bright House Networks to sponsor a team to run in the 2007 24-hour Endurance Kart Race at Moroso Raceway. Michel got a friend of his and former Indy Car race driver, Richie Hearn to be our team leader. Richie's friend Brian came out from California, and with Patrick and I we had a team of five to run the race. We had a great time together, and were successful running the full 24 hours. Driver changes were required every 45 minutes, with Richie, Brian and Patrick running double stints several times. At the end of 24 hours, we finished 8th overall out of 24 teams, and 6th in class. |
